Except for statutory EU/EEA withdrawal requests processed via the website, all global returns must be coordinated and authorized directly via email:
● Contact Us: Email our Customer Service team at info@harfington.com with your proof of purchase (Order Number) and the reason for the return.
● Get Authorization: Our team will review your email and reply with the correct warehouse destination address for your return package. Note: Do not ship items back to the original shipping address listed on the package exterior.
● Processing & Refund: It takes 1–3 business days for our warehouse to scan, physically inspect, and process your return after receiving the items. Once the refund is issued, it typically takes 5–10 business days for your banking institution to reflect the credit on your statement.
EU/EEA Customers Return Process
For consumers resident in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason. As part of our commitment to excellent service, we extend this return period to 30 days, starting from the day you receive the goods.● How to Exercise: Send a clear withdrawal declaration to info@harfington.com before the 30-day period expires. You may also submit your withdrawal request directly via the return button on your order detail page, which will trigger an automated confirmation email.
● Value Loss: You are only liable for diminished value of the goods if the loss results from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product’s condition, characteristics, and functionality.
3. Standard Product Return Requirements & Fraud Prevention
To qualify for a refund, all returned items must pass our strict warehouse inspection. Any signs of fraud will immediately void the refund. All returns must include:
● Original packaging (including original box, plastic foam, bubble wrap, bags, etc.).
● Original intact UPC barcode. Removal or defacement of the UPC code voids any possibility of the return request being honored.
● All accessories (cords, cases, transformers, parts, batteries, assembly tools, etc.).
● All documentation (manufacturer instruction manuals, warranty cards, and other documents).
● Condition Verification: Items must be in brand-new, uninstalled, and resalable condition. Any items showing signs of installation, tool marks, grease, operational wear, or the return of used/old auto parts (swapped items) will be strictly rejected for a refund and disposed of automatically.
4. Return Policy Exceptions & Limitations
1. Free Return Limit: Return shipping is complimentary only for the first return instance per individual order where applicable.
2. Additional Returns: If you wish to make subsequent returns from the same order, you can request an additional label, and a $5.99 shipping fee will be deducted from your final refund.
3. High-Value Orders: For orders above $30 or orders outside the United States, HARFINGTON is not responsible for the return shipping fee; you must ship via your own method and at your own cost.
4. Fulfillment Center Assessment: Refunds are strictly contingent upon physical verification of the package contents and shipping weight. If our warehouse detects that returned items are worn, damaged, missing components, or do not match the original product's weight (empty box fraud), HARFINGTON reserves the right to cancel the refund.
5. Defective or Wrong Items: If you receive an item that is wrong, defective, or broken, please report it within 30 days of receipt. HARFINGTON will exchange it for a new item or issue a 100% full refund.
6. Vehicle Compatibility & Fitment Responsibility: Customers are solely responsible for verifying vehicle compatibility before purchasing. If an item does not fit because the customer bypassed our vehicle selection tools or purchased the wrong part for their specific vehicle configuration, the return will be classified as a Non-Quality Issue (Personal Reason).
7. Bundles & Promotional Kits: Items purchased as part of a bundle, promotional kit, or buy-one-get-one offer must be returned in their entirety. For approved partial returns, the refund amount will be recalculated by deducting the full retail price of the retained item(s) from the total bundle price.
8. Non-Returnable Items: Select products(Customized products, clearance products, etc.) are excluded from the 30-day unconditional return policy. These products will be explicitly tagged on their respective detail pages and within your order details.
9. Larger Items: Certain large or heavy items require specialized freight handling. If you wish to return a larger item, please contact Customer Service via email in advance for specific instructions.
10. Non-Quality Issues: For returns initiated due to personal reasons (e.g., changing mind, buyer's remorse, wrong fitment selection), the customer is fully responsible for paying the return shipping fees and any customs duties, import fees, or original shipping costs incurred.
11. Wholesale & Custom Orders: Free returns and refunds are not supported for wholesale or custom-made orders. Additionally, certain approved wholesale returns may be subject to a 30%–50% restocking fee. (Wholesale orders are orders that qualify for wholesale discounts)
5. Warranty
Unless explicitly marked otherwise for select products that carry a 2–3 year warranty, all eligible HARFINGTON products are backed by a standard 365-day warranty starting from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal and intended use. If your item is confirmed to be defective within this period, we will gladly provide a new replacement or issue a full refund. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper DIY installation, vehicle accidents, racing, normal wear, or neglectful maintenance.
